Physician numbers on the rise
|
| PHYSICIAN regulators hope a recent increase in the number of doctors practising in Manitoba will continue before a wave of retirements hits.
According to new statistics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba, the province gained a total of 60 doctors between May 2009 and April 2010 -- the largest annual gain in the last decade.
In 2009, the province gained 57 physicians. |
